Measure the business ROI of your agents
Business Suite provides key stakeholders with a single pane of glass for evaluating the business performance of your agents.

Do you know how your agents are performing?
When you deploy Vectara, your agents’ answers are grounded in a relevant, usable context spanning all of your business’s data sources. Developers can log in to the Vectara Console and adjust the behavior of these agents and the data they consume. System admins can use the Vectara Admin Center to assess system health, allocate resources, and manage tenant accounts.
But what if you’re not a developer or a system admin? Every organization has key stakeholders whose contributions are critical to the success of that organization’s agents. Department heads, subject matter experts, and busy executives all need visibility into how their organization’s agents are performing both in terms of baseline functionality and specific business KPIs.
We created Vectara Business Suite to enable every stakeholder to contribute to their agents’ success by reviewing configured metrics alongside operational performance in a simple and minimal interface, without having to navigate the developer-focused Vectara Console.
The business impact of agents
Business dashboards
In Vectara Business Suite, dashboards provide insights into how your agents are performing, using metrics that are tailored to your business domain and use case. For example, they can answer questions such as:
- Semiconductor industry: Is your agent being used primarily for root cause analysis, next-step recommendations, or lot and wafer history? For each of these workflows, is it underperforming or excelling?
- Manufacturing engineering: Where are the gaps in your engineering knowledge search agent’s data sources? How many conversations are being impacted by those gaps?
- Customer or IT support: What’s the deflection rate of your support agent? Of those conversations that escalated to a human, what were the top five most popular user requests?

X-ray vision into agent behavior
Business Suite provides insight into agent health metrics, too.
Under the hood, agents exhibit the same basic behavior: they receive a query, use tools, respond, and occasionally encounter errors. When an agent’s business metrics dip, it can be useful to see if there’s a correlating dip in these fundamental health metrics. Whether the two move in parallel or not will tell a development team where the problem lies and how severe it is.
